I am sure you will all agree, that the children should be extremely proud of themselves for their very professional performance of 'Gentle Beasts'. Look on the KS1 Hub (scroll down to below the gallery) to watch a video clip of our class song. Well done to EVERYONE in 2D!
As you know we all made puppets (with your help!) during our DT afternoon. In Geopgraphy we have been learning about different types of weather and the compass points North, South, East and West. We also drew maps of the United Kingdom. We used all our new knowledge and have become weather forecasters!
Here are some photos to show you our puppets and maps. We also filmed our 'Puppet Show Weather Forecasts!' One example is below for you to watch.
Thank you so much to all of you who supported our school by coming to the Christmas Fayre on Friday. The children worked so hard preparing our classroom and all the crafts. They were very excited and full of enthusiasm! Thank you also to those of you who made very generous donations to our class fund. We will let you know how much we have raised as soon as possible.
Look what we have made to sell at the Christmas Fayre on Friday! Come to 2D and see the wonderful creations your child has made. All donations will go towards something special for our class.
On Wednesday we made some puppets. Thank you to all the grown ups who came to help with the sewing - it was another creative, enjoyable and productive afternoon. Keep checking our blog because in a few weeks we are going to be using our puppets to make and film a weather forecast as part of our 'Weather Experts' topic outcome.
We are 3D!
