Mrs Jones (Music Teacher) led a music meeting for parents who were considering paying for music lessons in the next academic year or those parents who were keen to continue to pay for music tuition.
Rushmere Hall remains committed to music and continues to invest in it because it recognises the value which it holds and how the skills learnt in music translates over to other areas of school life.
Next year, the school will utilise more tutors from the Suffolk County Music service who allow the school to lease the instruments and in turn will repair them free of charge.
Mrs Jones shared leaflets which explained how the lessons work and included an agreement that would need to be signed to ensure the pupils stay committed to learning an instrument and practise regularly.
Those who were unable to attend but are interested in music lessons should contact Mrs Jones in the next week for some more information.
