In our Assembly today there was only 1 birthday to celebrate! She had to have lots of puff to blow out 7 candles but she managed well.
We also celebrated all of the children who entered the poetry competition ... well done children. You wrote wonderful poems about our school learning attitudes!
We hope you all have a very lovely half term holiday and enjoy your time off. See you all again on Monday 20th February!
This week we have had various awards inside and out of school. Well done everyone!

Ever heard of Squad Kids? They are a club that completes sports and athletics, such as the long jump. Want anymore information? Find one of these people to ask!
Our 'Quick Cricket' team! They have played in a tournament, against 12 other schools! We won 2/4 matches but persevered and worked together as a team. Thank you for representing our school in a positive a manner.

We've had a lovely week in the sunshine at Rushmere Hall. The children have worked so hard despite the heat. Yesterday we had Sports Day and the children definitely showed perseverance, determination and resilience! Some children received certificates for winning the running races! Well done...you certainly were very speedy!!

Well done to all here who have achieved their Level 1 Bikability!
These girls in year three achieved a musical participation award for playing their violins in our recent concerts.
Well done to those that achieved their personal safety in swimming. Very important and a challenging task to swim in their clothes!
These ladies have achieved their St. John's First Aid Cadet arm sleeve. This means that they are trainee's! First aid is extremely important, well done!
Here one child has various medals for Ipswich fun run, man of the match in football, a park run medal and an amazing achievement of a half marathon!
This person has recently achieved a 5K run and the race for life. Many people run these for their families and friends - what a super way to raise money for charity. Well done!
Also, well done to 3M for getting the attendance award this week!

On top of all these awards we had numerous trophies and other certificates to celebrate including:
- End of a football season, gaining the biggest improvement award!
- Completing a football course, where you take on the managements job!
- Year 5 and 6 recently represnted the school in a swimming gala. They showed maturity and are a credit to the school!
And, last but not least.... This week we had two attendance winners, 4C and 6S! Well done, achieving 100%!
Not only did we have Learning awards today, but we also had many other trophy's and medals, including: swimming, junior park runners (completing half a marathon), swimming stage 9, football tournaments, ballroom dancing and a family trophy!
If you have anything you would like to celebrate, bring it in and tell your class teacher!
Today we listened to 1W's Assembly. They taught us lots about the Seaside, rhyming words and fractions!
We celebrated children's learning achievements today ... Lots of children were very proud and looked pleased with their achievement. Children are ready to learn, reflective and motivated!
Also, a big Happy Birthday to the children who celebrated their birthday this week. Have a lovely weekend!
It's been another busy and successful week at Rushmere Hall Primary School. The children just keep on improving and their brains keep growing and zapping! The children looked very proud when they received their learning award certificate today....and so they should!
