Thank you for coming to watch our Nativity play of Baa Baa Bethlehem!
We really enjoyed performing to you and we feel really proud of our loud voices, beautiful singing and fantastic acting!
We hope you enjoyed watching as much as we enjoyed performing to you!
We have been working very hard practising for our Christmas production!
We are very excited to perform to you next week!
Have a look at a photo of us practising our dance!
We have been reading a Non Fiction book called 'Storms and Hurricanes' this week.
We have been working really hard in English to include different sentence types in our writing, such as, exclamations, commands and questions.
Have a look at some of our writing from today!
A big thank you to those of you who came along to our Christmas craft making morning today! We hope you enjoyed making the crafts with us as much as we did!
We had lots of fun creating our own firework paintings!
We cut the end of a cardboard tube and covered it in paint. Then we created our own fireworks on some black paper.
We finished our fireworks with some sparkly glitter!
We had a lovely time at Christchurch Park this week!
We enjoyed playing on the play area, using sticks, leaves, chestnuts and conkers to create some art work and used compasses to explore the park.

This afternoon we were very excited because our School Cook came to visit us!
We went into 2D's classroom and we were able to ask our cook lots of questions.
We asked questions like:
1. How long does it take you to cook our lunches?
2. Why do you have to wear a hat and blue plasters?
3. Where do you get all the ingredients from?
4. How many dinners do you have to cook everyday?
5. What is your favourite meal to cook?
Our School Cook told us lots about her job. It sounds like lots of hard work! At Christmas our cook cooks 550 Christmas dinners for our school! We learnt how important adding, multiplication, reading recipes and telling the time is when cooking our lunches!
Our cook loves cooking as a hobby too and she has inspired lots of us to be a chef when we are older!
Yesterday afternoon in Geography we looked at different maps and atlases. We loved talking about different countries around the world and the weather in those countries.
We were particularly fascinated by the weather in Antarctica!
Keep looking at our blog to see what part of the world we are learning about next week!
In Science today we enjoyed sorting different food into different groups. We sorted food such as, fruit, crisps, chocolate, yogurt, chips, burgers, cereal bars and porridge.
We thought carefully about the similarities and differences these food have.
We talked about chips and crisps both being made from potatoes. We talked about chips often being served with a burger. We know that chocolate and yogurt both contain milk. You might enjoy fruit with your porridge in the morning! These were some similarities we thought of. Can you think of any more?
Then we sorted our food into two groups, healthy and unhealthy. We discussed why we decided some of these foods were unhealthy or healthy. 2W know the importance of a balanced diet.
