We are learning lots in maths about statistics, can you try this question at home?
Have a great weekend! Some children in Class 4 are in a club. This table shows the club they are in. We have really been enjoying our Roman topic and all had a great time on our trip to Colchester castle last week!
Isobel's mum kindly brought in some Roman artefacts from the Ipswich museum for us to look at. We have been using these in our Art sessions using the new drawing and shading techniques we've been learning! Please remember to book your slot on the school website. The meetings this term will take place on Tuesday 16th October 3.50pm- 8pm and Thursday 18th October 3.50pm -6pm.
I look forward to sharing with you how your child is getting on in Year 3 so far. Ms Mackay We've had such a busy and exciting week in 3M! We had a visit from Mr. Kightley to share his Roman artefacts and made moon landers in Science to land our astronauts safely on the moon!
Have a restful weekend! Well done to those of you who have already completed a piece of topic homework.
The shields look great! I'm sure any Roman would be proud to have them! We have had some Roman food made and brought in too! Remember to complete at least one piece before half term and one afterwards. We planted our seeds 1 week ago and look how much they have grown already!
We have planted cress, mustard, radishes, lettuce, chives and lots of different flowers! We have been learning about parts of a plant in Science.
We created plant pictures out of cupcake cases, straws and wool. We then labelled the parts: flower, stem, leaf, root and seed. Have a look at our new display outside our classroom! This week we are reading the book 'The Day the Crayons Quit' in our English lessons.
We are really enjoying reading all the letters the crayons have written to Duncan about how they feel. Today we had a piece of coloured paper and we wrote words to describe how we feel when we look at that colour. We also wrote different adjectives to describe the colour. Have a look at our photos below! |
