4R have made a really positive start to the new school year. We have had a fun week, getting to know each other and the new routines in the classroom. We have begun our maths and literacy work in earnest, working hard on Place Value in maths and beginning to study the story of the athlete Jesse Owens in our literacy lessons.
We joined up with the other two year 4 classes this week for our outdoor learning session, in which we began to explore the secret garden by trying to find natural objects to match paint swatches! We had a brilliant time and enjoyed working collaboratively together.
We look forward to seeing many of you at the Meet The Teacher session on Monday, which will take place at 3.30pm on Monday in the 4R classroom. If you are unable to attend, we will ensure the information is sent home. Please keep checking the blog regularly for updates on our class work and other information.
