tThis week was no normal week……
We did some persuasive poster work on the Vikings. Jacob’s group was one of many amazing posters .All filled with information about Viking Kings and leaders…..
Erik the Red was a name that came up often in Viking History it turns out he was a Viking adventurer.
In English we read the 9th chapter of Private Peaceful .We were focussing on the trenches and we were given a picture of soldiers in the trench and we had to write Hear , Feel, see and smell and had to wrie descriptive phrases to go under the columns.
We now have Tadpoles! We named them after all 30 of us in the class.
This week in 5R we have been learning about angles. We have also been looking at some art which has different shapes and angles included in the artwork.
We have been designing our own “Angle art!" in the style of Kandinsky - how many angles can you spot?
For the past few weeks we have been making E-safety websites in groups.
They have been getting along very well and the children have really enjoyed it!
