Along with the rest of Year 4, 4C enjoyed an exciting day out at the Anglo-Saxon village at West Stow. The weather wasn't on our side but it didn't prevent us from exploring the village and learning about how Anglo-Saxon people would have lived. The children were able to handle actual artefacts from the period and had to guess what they might be! A trip into the museum allowed everyone to see what had been found at the site and gave them the opportunity to try on helmets and see the type of clothing worn. The children's behaviour was exemplary; they asked appropriate questions and showed a keen interest in what they were being told. Most of them returned at the end of the day with their own finds, tired but very happy. Well done everyone. You represented your school in the best possible way.
