What a shame that the weather led to Sports Day ending earlier than expected.
The adults in our class were so impressed with the 'sporting' nature of our class members. They cheered each other on continuously and there needs to be a special mention for Jonah Novak, who helped a fellow year 4 pupil to complete the race when he was struggling. Jonah held the boy and encouraged him to complete the race. By doing this, Jonah sacrificed his own success to help this pupil out.
The track events were intense and exciting and every single member of our class gave their all. This is all we ask for.
Although we weren't able to complete the field events, the class were just as enthusiastic and supported each other. It actually gave me goosebumps, seeing how compassionate they were towards one another.
Our class are really looking forward to the 5th of July, when the conclusion of Sports Day will take place.
