On Thursday 01.03.18 5R went to R2 and read them stories. They explained about their books and what they liked about them,we had fun and we think they did too.
After we got back we immediately started drawing and painting our own version of Romeo and Juliet .Some of the characters were smaller than others because we were using perspective
This week we have been very busy with what feels like millions of things , we wrote traditional Mayan tales of our own , we also wrote on paper puzzle pieces about what we could do to make the internet a better , safer place.
5R have also been looking at improper fractions and converting them into mixed numbers.

Thanks everyone for working so hard this week to rehearse and perform in our sharing assembly today. Great drama and writing which explored the racism and segregation laws in the U.S.A.. We marvelled at the courage and conviction of the civil rights protesters and how their struggle brought about changes to the law that promoted civil rights. Martin Luther King was the figurehead of that struggle and the book 'March On' inspired us to think about how we would like to change the world to make it a better place.
This week we planned and wrote our own speeches inspired by Martin Luther kings speech in 1963.
Secondly,Megan made a bread model this is what it looks like
Also today, we have our first sharing assembly of the year .If you came we hope you enjoyed it.
