World Book Day is a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and (most importantly) reading.
In 4B, we put our powers of persuasion to good use. Each group was assigned a villain from children’s literature: Big Bad Wolf, Voldemort, Wicked Witch of the West, Miss Trunchbull or The Grinch. In order to promote and instil a love of reading, 4B also decided to create, perform in and film their own chorus of a music video. To make this a reality, the children turned into songwriters and rewrote Meghan Trainer’s ‘All About That Bass.’

Well done to my creative and imaginative class for making such a tremendous effort with their costumes today! They all looked superb! Kayci’s potato character has become an additional member of the class as well.
