We had a super fun day today, completing our science unit on the three states of matter. We started the day by converting data collected during an experiment into a line graph. We then explored melting points by letting a square of chocolate melt in our mouths! Later, we explored the effect salt has on ice and tried to 'fish' for ice cubes using steing and som salt to help. We then had a lot of messy fun playing with cornflour, a non-Newtonian substance because it behaves like a liquid and a solid. In the afternoon we explored the water cycle and made our own mini water cycle, then produced beautiful artistic versions to explaijnthe process.
