We had a wonderful time on our trip to Framlingham Castle. The children were very excited to see a real castle and where battles had taken place.
We learnt lots of facts about the weapons they used, what the well was used for and what they used to eat.
The children had lots of fun playing parachute games and we all came home exhausted.
Wow, What a fantastic day 2DH have had at Foxburrow farm today. the children were kept bust with lots of activities including pond dipping, mini beast hunting, pretending to be bees collecting nectar and looking for signs of different animals around the farm - this involved looking for animal droppings, holes where animals might live, nests, nibbled leaves and cones and footprints.
The weather stayed dry and the sun even came out to keep us warm.
Look how busy we have been with some of the pictures below:
2DH have had a busy but fun afternoon playing lots of maths games but the best part was being able to share this with our parents. Thank you to all those who came along, it was lovely to see the children so engaged in their learning. We have sent home a little pack of fun games and maths worksheets that follow on from the session so if you were unable to attend you can still enjoy the fun at home :)
In class we have just started learning about the wonderful world of fractions! The children had fun experimenting folding shapes in half and then transferred their knowledge to numbers. It was a fun practical lesson and everyone now knows that:

The children are still buzzing about our Great Fire of London topic. They have loved learning about it, and found the different way of living very interesting - no phones or televisions, houses made out of wood and buckets of water to put out the fire!!! They have retained so many fascinating facts about the great fire ask your child to tell you about what they have learnt.
Here is a website you can look at together at home.
