Well done to all of the Language Ambassador for setting up and helping run the Refugee tea party! I hope you enjoyed yourself and had fun!!!!
These are some of the dreadful Refugee camps they have to live in. Think how you would feel if you had to leave your country because you were in danger.
It's Rose and Seb here having a go at blogging. It's been a busy week with Vikings, trips to London and finishing off our work before the half term.
On Tuesday, a Viking called Ulf came in to show us all his weaponry including spears, axes, armour, helmets and a super shield.
A trip to the Royal Opera House in London
On Thursday, some of us went to London to see a brilliant performance of the ballet Romeo and Juliet by Prokofiev. It was magical and Mrs Harries cried when Romeo and Juliet did their pas de deux.

We need to congratulate Aaliyah on her dancing success. She brought in lots of medals last week to show us in assembly
We were very lucky to have a paramedic and her ambulance come to visit year 5 this week. She showed us her equipment, inside the ambulance and we heard the siren. Did you know that a new ambulance will set you back £142,000 (including the equipment)!
Romeo and Juliet
We rehearsed and performed the opening scene of Romeo and Juliet this week.
The acting talent in 5H is amazing! Martel was an excellent Sampson with Sylvie as his sidekick Gregory. Emma was an angry Tybalt and Jayden even learnt his part off by heart as Abraham in half an hour!
On Tuesday the 19th of March, year 5 children took part in a cross country run and Water(blue) won the challenge.
The order in which the teams came was the following: Water came 1st place, Earth came 2 place, Air came 3 place and Fire came 4 place.
Well done to all the people who participated in the cross country challenge!
