We have had a really busy week and spent Wednesday focusing on all things to do with e-safety. Year 5 pupils had to write a report discussing when the internet is useful and when it needs to be used with caution. To explain the idea of creating a balanced argument, all the children wrote one of their ideas on a whiteboard and stood to my left or right depending on whether it was concerned with the internet being useful or whether it was about using the internet with caution. The photographs are attached.
We have had a really hardworking term so your children really deserve a rest. However, reading is a restful activity that I hope they will continue with throughout the holiday as well as reciting their tables instead of counting sheep to get themselves to sleep!
Have a good holiday and I'll be in touch after half term.
,In Geography we have been looking at the three main processes of the sea: Erosion, Transportation and Deposition. All of the children worked hard to try to understand what happens in them and to check their understanding, we finished with the pupils creating a tableau to show each of these processes. The photos are attached - they had fun whilst demonstrating their learning!
I am looking forward to seeing some of you next week. If the dates and times are difficult for you then please get in touch and I am sure we will be able to sort out a suitable time
