In art next week the children will be making a bowl out of tissue paper and so they will need to bring into school a named plastic bowl that they can use as a mould. This does not have to big too big and will be returned once the bowls have been made.
After a lively and thoughtful election campaign, 5R have voted! Our School Council Class Representative is Lana Inniss. All of the candidates gave excellent speeches but Lana convinced everyone that she is the right person for the job.
We have had another good week and everyone is working well.

We had such fun creating our Giacometti sculptures using mod rock. Apologies for the state of everyone's clothes! It does wash out. Thank you.
Another hard week in 5R. We are getting well and truly into the swing of things. Thank you to all the parents who attended the 'Meet the Teacher' session on Monday. It was lovely to meet you all. I look forward to meeting those who were unable to attend later in the term at Parents' Evening.
We have been busy learning the Roman Numerals today so any reinforcement at home would be much welcomed.
