Next week is our last full week of rehearsals! Please bring in costumes and remember to bring back tickets that you do not need.
Have a lovely weekend - you can always practice our songs if you get bored!
This week we have been practicing for our end of year show - Pride Rock - it has been fun.
The file above is the kit list for Belchamps. If you are going to Belchamps you will need to be in school at 8:30AM and go to the South Hall as the coach leaves at 9AM on Monday. Bring your pocket money, medical forms and medicine to Mr Rix/Miss Steward in the hall.
If you are not going to Belchamps, come to school for normal time and register with Mrs Steward.
Thank you for reading our blog from this weeks bloggers Rebecca and Jesse.
I am so proud of all of you! You had a super poisitive attitude and were fearless this week. You were so sensible, determined and resiliant - I'm sure this will all pay off! We can now forget all about SATs (YAY!) and focus on our production!
Auditions are on Monday and after our read through today I think Mr Rix and I will have a very difficult job choosing the parts...
Have a lovely, restful weekend - you've earned it!
Worried about SATs? I don't think so! Here we are enjoying our breakfast and Mr Stock's music choices!
Hi everyone! Hope you had a very good easter and for anyone who didn't celebrate easter, we hope you had a great break.
For those of you who came to our Egyptian museum, which was brilliant, would have noticed that we made a mummy - who was Ben.T wrapped in chicken wire - don't worry we didn't leave him in there! In our museum there were also pharo head dresses ( which looked awesome), very expensive jewellery, delicate scarab beetles and shabti figures. We had such a good time putting the museum together and love seeing it as we walk through school.
In the comments please type your favourite part of the museum!
see you later!!!
Jess, Eleanor and Harriet

From this weeks bloggers Rebecca and Harriet.
There's been a lot of illness in year 6 this week. We are so happy to have Keira and Eleanor back - who was ill for 6 days! We hope that those that are still ill are back soon!
We did our first piece of assessed writing this week. We wrote a letter to Alem's mum from the book Refugee Boy. "It was very good!" (Evie), "Some people enjoyed it; others didn't." (Ben).
We went to Egypt! (not..) In maths we measured ancient Egyptian artefacts and also the distances from different towns in Egypt. "We worked really well as a team!" (Jesse), "It was hard but I learned alot." (Emma).
We also did 'tuttuing' in dance this week - I'll try to get photos next week...!
Congratulations to the children who ran the fundraising stall on Friday - we look forward to hearing how much money you raised for EACH.
Welcome back to school! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas break and are refreshed and ready for another hard working term.
Even though we've only been back for 2 days, it's been busy! In art, we started to study Henry Moore – a famous sculptor. Ivan was chosen to wear a stockinette and pose in a position for the class to mould out of clay. It was really fun!
Today Charlie was awarded the resourceful attitude ceritficate and Harriet shared her level 6 gymnastics award (well done Charlie and Harriet!). Today we also found out that our new topic is the Ancient Egyptian civilisation. They used hooks to pull out brains through the nose – it’s gross! We’re really looking forward to Monday because we have an Egyptologist coming in to talk to us.
This is us doing some Egyptian style dancing...
This week we had a very exciting week because we found out that in PE we are going to be doing dance with a lady called Miss Emma. As well as this, we have created a story based on a dramatic airraid during The Blitz in WW2 .
Here are some images:
All brilliant pieces of literature!
