Before half term, we worked very hard to create and organize the displays for our corridors - to make them more colorful and interesting! I think you'll agree they look great! We think our pop art war leaders are lovely paintings.
To continue our world war 2 topic, we have just started reading a book called Friend Or Foe. It is about a boy, who is called David, growing up in WW2 Britain. He gets evacuated from London to Devon and - according to the blurb - soon realises how dangerous the war really is.
We have been sent home with CPG revision maths books today! And have also now joined a maths website called Interactive Resources, which is optional, it is full of fun games!
You can do different amazing math games for you and your younger brothers or sisters.
We have also started a 'pick n mix' topic homework. This is optional again, so we can just choose one of the activities to do, like bake yummy carrot cookies or make a parachute for a paperclip.
Results on are science experiment:
Variable A (fridge): Not too bad! It had a little bit of mould and was a bit stale.
Variable B (radiator): Was wet, mouldy and really disgusting!
Control: The control slice was also very mouldy but not as bad as variable B.
