There's been a lot of illness in year 6 this week. We are so happy to have Keira and Eleanor back - who was ill for 6 days! We hope that those that are still ill are back soon!
We did our first piece of assessed writing this week. We wrote a letter to Alem's mum from the book Refugee Boy. "It was very good!" (Evie), "Some people enjoyed it; others didn't." (Ben). We went to Egypt! (not..) In maths we measured ancient Egyptian artefacts and also the distances from different towns in Egypt. "We worked really well as a team!" (Jesse), "It was hard but I learned alot." (Emma). We also did 'tuttuing' in dance this week - I'll try to get photos next week...! Congratulations to the children who ran the fundraising stall on Friday - we look forward to hearing how much money you raised for EACH.
