This week Koalas have been busy making their fathers day cards, hope all the fathers have a lovely day this Sunday.
This week we have been using number lines for subtraction for 1 and 2 digit numbers and increasing our vocabulary around the subject:
subtracting, subtraction, take away, fewer, smaller, count/jump back.
In Literacey we have been learning about the story ' The Rainbow fish' Koalas have been sequencing the story and re-telling the story. This has also been supported in PSHE - what makes a kind friend, how do we share at school.
SCHOOL TRIP - WEDNESDAY 19th JUNE:
We will be spending the day at Foxburrow Farm, participating in activities that include pond dipping and mini beast hunt. We are VERY excited to be taking our learning ourside the school environment. YOUR CHILD WILL NEED:
* To be in school uniform
* To bring a packed lunch and drinks (NON FIZZY)
* To bring a Sunhat and will need suncream applied.
* To have wellies and a raincoat (the weather is unpredictable)
We will be back at school for 3:30pm

Secret Garden - Please ensure your child has a pair of wellington boots - even though it is summer term the grass is long and can be wet.
Show and tell - NO SHOW AND TELL
SWIMMING- NO SWIMMING
Library - we go to the Library every week, please can you ensure your child has their library books in their book bags so they can choose a new book.
P.E - Please remember PE kits and NO JEWELLERY all earrings MUST be taken out, weather permitted PE will take place on the school field.
SUN HATS and SUN CREAM- Please could ALL children have a sunhat in school and arrive wearing sun cream (yes it is that time of year!) We are OUTSIDE for play-times and using our outdoor continuous provision area, please could ALL children be provided with a water bottle (if we are out on the field/ secret garden they can take them with them!).
