The club caters for Reception children through to Year 6.
However, we would strongly advise that Reception children are settled in their mainstream class before parents explore this extra provision.
The club is not able to offer 1:1 support. Your child will need to be independent and able to eat breakfast with minimal help. Excellent behaviour is expected at all times.
Entry to the club will be through the side door to the North Hall (see map). Press the door bell and a member of staff will meet and greet.
The children will be escorted to their classes by the Breakfast Club staff members. Any messages given by parents to Breakfast Club staff will be passed on to the class teacher / relevant adult.
Key policies will be included here...
As the club is a school-based club - the club leaders will have access to ParentMail in order to make contact with parents. Information will be shared between the Breakfast Club and the school. We are exploring the communication options associated with the SchoolsBuddy system.
Each term activities that take place within the club will link directly to a theme / topic. The topics are listed below...
Staffing & Supervision
All club instructors are employed here at school. They have all received school safeguarding training and know most of the children from their day to day roles. We have been keen to ensure staff from the school are utilised as this was something that was identified in the parent questionnaire and it means that messages / information and communication is shared seamlessly from the breakfast club to the school.
