What a fantastic way to end the season. The children brought along an adult to play the tournament. There were grand parents, uncles and even Keith, the caretaker dragged along for some stiff competition. Many of the pupils took no prisoners and a few adults felt out of their depth.
Six rounds were held with points allocated for victories. Everyone wanted to win the chocolate and avoid the wooden spoons.
For the second year running Carmen and her Dad were victorious ( they really are formidable opponents- Keith could only manage one shot before he lost to them).
In second place Holly and her dad had to play a sudden death red-piece play-off. They defeated Sam and Grand-dad without Sam even having a shot.
'Shot of the evening' went to Callum with a planned five times round the table 'roller' into the bottom pocket. 'Sporting Behaviour' went to the Andrews- they never gave up and eventually won a game. The wooden spoons were keenly fought over and went to Charlie, Charlie and Kayleigh, who hopefully benefited from a stir- fry when they got home.
Many thanks for all who took part. Mr Smith and Mr Button
