Today was a special day at Rushmere Hall Primary school. All week the children have been taking part in Refugee Week. The children have learnt what a refugee is and have taken part in many activities. Today was Non Uniform day - the children had to wear bright colours - Make sure you wear sunglasses when you look at the photos!!
Happy Birthday to the children who blew out their candles. You looked very smart.
Well done to the children who received a learning award. You should be very proud of your achievement - keep up the excellent work - everyone is very proud of you!!
Children have also been thinking about how to be kind. Children have to think and complete 20 acts of kindness this week. It has been a very polite school indeed - let's keep it up!
It was a busy assembly today - we had so many birthdays!! It is clear that lots of children have grown up and are definitely becoming ready for next year!
Happy Birthday to these smart children.
We also celebrated our Learning Award certificates. Children proved this week that they are adaptable, motivated, organised and dedicated. What wonderful qualities to have! Well done children.
I think you'll all agree...We had some very proud looking children in today's assembly. Children have proved that they are ready to learn, resilient, motivated and independent.
Happy Birthday to the children who blew out their candles. You looked very excited and we hope you enjoy your weekend of celebrating!
