We have been learning to play tuned instruments in 3 parts, using glockenspiels for marimbas. Skills involved are - using two hands (best if we stick to the same pattern each time!) keeping the pulse listening to each other memorising the tune we each play deciding in each of the 3 parts when to play and when to stop Making our performance sound good takes heaps of concentration. Look at our photos, and see how hard we are concentrating!
