![]() It seems almost impossible that there is only 3 days left of the term! That first day in September seems like a distant memory now! This week is the Nursery party (Tuesday) and Wednesday is the last day which is a normal uniform day. There is no library or show & tell, PE kits can be taken home for a freshen up, but please return them the first week back. Please can any remaining DVD slips and monies be in by Wednesday. At the moment there are not enough orders (4 short) and it may have to be cancelled. We hope you all have a good break and look forward to seeing you on Thursday 4th January.

Next weeks topic is Christmas. Children will be learning about the Christmas story and taking part in some Christmas crafts, as well as our usual phonic focus (u) and colour (gold); hopefully a trip to the Secret Garden, weather permitting!
Please put your name down on the Christmas food party list, if you haven't already done so. Any problems just ask a member of staff. At the end of the week there will be a chance to buy some Christmas decorations your child has made. They will be on sale for £1 and some Reindeer food for 50p. Don't forget to bring your change all profit goes into buying resources for the Nursery.
A great time was had by all this morning watching 'WOW Said The Owl.' The colours were lovely and such a clever way to tell the story. Sorry some of the children missed it due to illness, get well soon. ![]() There is a post box near the Nursery door if you'd like to put Christmas cards in it. This is for cards addressed to the Nursery children only. If you'd like a class list just ask a member of staff. Please don't feel you have to participate. Please arrive at 10.45 to allow time to be seated, start time is 11.00 am.
Really looking forward to seeing you there. Please note Nursery will be closed (5/12/17) due to the trip. They certainly did do a good job. It can be very daunting standing on stage in front of lots of adults, no matter how friendly! They sang with enthusiasm and remembered the actions. There certainly were some cute moments. Well done everyone. |
