Those animal shadow drawings look great fun Mrs Ingram! I hope you traced the shadows carefully before you coloured neatly between the lines! I might try one of those myself.
Yesterday I managed to go out on a bike ride as one of my daily exercises. As I live in the countryside I hardly saw anyone whilst biking. Whilst I was cycling I did notice that there are now some signs of spring around. I took some pictures as I cycled which I thought I would share with you. I think my favourite thing I saw were the beautiful daffodils by the side of the road. They are a bright yellow or orange which stand out against the green grass and bushes that surround them. I felt so inspired by them that I decided to draw a picture of them. Have a look below to see my results. If you go out for a walk or into your garden, what signs of spring do you notice? Can you draw some of them? If you don't fancy drawing, how about paint or even collaging them? Now I know I asked if you could find any minibeasts in your garden. Did you manage to find any? If you did, could you create something to tell me what you found and how many? It could be a table or maybe even a bar graph? You may have drawn some pictures of what you found which is great. Minibeasts are fascinating creatures. Perhaps you could research one of them and create a minibeast fact file? Looking forward to seeing some of your finished projects!
