Next week we are thinking about Ladybirds and reading 'the bad tempered ladybird' by Eric Carle.
For Show and Tell please bring something spotty.
We need lots of large, smooth stones and pebbles for a craft activity next week. Please start collecting them for us!
A few weeks ago we planted some beans, they had grown so well that they were becoming entangled so we have sent them home to be looked after. Keep us updated with how tall they grow! Below are some of our longest beanstalks!
As the children are nearing the end of the foundation stage their learning journeys on Tapestry will be coming to an end. The last observations will be going on this week. If you would like to save their learning journey for your own memories please log on to Tapestry before 23rd July. You will be receiving an email inviting you to download your child's learning journey. There will be no access to them after this date.
Every Child in Pandas has made fantastic progress with their water confidence and swimming this term and there are still a couple of lessons to go.
Well done Pandas, I am very proud of you!
We were very surprised this week when we received an email from Paddington bear! He asked us a couple of questions. He wanted to know if we liked marmalade sandwiches as those are his favourite. Some of the pandas weren’t sure so we made our own to try! We found out that most of the pandas do like marmalade sandwiches so we learnt how to reply to an email to let Paddington know!

On Wednesday the children had great fun in the secret garden making balloon rockets. My son has just finished his GCSEs so he came in for a day and helped the children with this science work. They made predictions about whether the bigger or smaller balloon would travel the furthest and why. There were some great explanations and it was lots of fun.
This week we found out what a refugee is. We visited a pretend refugee camp in the secret garden to see the conditions that refugees live in. Don't forget tomorrow to wear bright colours and bring a 50p donation. I have survived the rations but it hasn't been easy, thank you if you made a donation, one day to go!
Well done Pandas, in Show and Tell we managed to say ‘Hello’ in 16 different languages!
Between us we said hello in Japanese, Spanish, French, Farsi, Italian, Greek, German, Portuguese, Kurdish, Chinese, Estonian, Hindi, Turkish, Polish, Armenian and Bosnian!
