Year 2 have thoroughly enjoyed their first time in Year 2. They have gained new experiences, and have been continuously developing new skills and concepts in Maths and English, they have worked extremely hard and are super ready for half-term!
This week we have been busy with our display day, making resources and developing our knowledge further for our displays on Maths, Science and Weather.
We would like to thank you for all your support this term, and for attending parents evening, we had an amazing turn out which was beneficial for you and for us.
Have a fantastic half term and we look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday 29th October 2019.
We have been reading and exploring the language used by Julia Donaldson in Room on the Broom. We have been thinking of adjectives to describe the characters and the setting. Next week we are going to compose 'sensational sentences' including these adjectives. Can you fill in the gaps in the sentence below?
Today we went on an Art weather walk outside. We took our sketchbooks and a sketching pencil with us. We listened carefully to the weather and used our eyes to look for different weather. We made marks in our sketchbooks to show today's weather.
Have a look at some photos!
