![]() Yesterday we celebrated European Day of Languages across the school with Year 3 exploring Spain. Dressed in red and yellow, the colours of the Spanish flag, we researched Spain and even learned some Spanish. In the morning, we found Spain on the map, learned about some of its famous cities and flamenco dancing. With the help of some wonderful songs, we practised the numbers to 10 and the colours in Spanish - even playing bingo in Spanish! In the afternoon, we looked at the artwork of Joan Miró and created our own Surrealist drawings inspired by his work. What a wonderful day! 3C practising the colours in Spanish A brief reminder that on Friday 4th October (a week today!) we are going to Colchester Castle so please can all children have pack lunches as we will be out for the entire school day. Also, if you do have any spare yogurt pots or old shirts that could be used for art shirts we would greatly appreciate them. Thanks in advance. Have a lovely weekend.
