We have had another busy week in Year 3.
This week is Children's Mental Health Week and we have been discussing the topic of bravery. Mr Plowman delivered an assembly on Monday, talking about what bravery is and how we can be brave. On Wednesday, a volunteer from the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) came to speak to each year group about the work the charity does and the local lifeboat station at Harwich. We also heard the story of Grace Darling, an amazing example of bravery from the 19th century. In today's Celebration Assembly, a child from each class was awarded a certificate for being brave this week. Challenge yourself to be brave this weekend and try something you haven't done before.
