Today we were very lucky. We had a visit from Mr and Mrs Gudgin as part of our learning about the past in our History lessons. They own a small village shop in Coddenham and were kind enough to bring us items they used to use and sell in their shop. We now know that shops have changed greatly over the last 50 or so years... Tesco has not always been there!! We now know how they used to sell milk, tea, butter and sugar. We also looked at old irons, shoes and clothes. It was very interesting - Thank you Mr and Mrs Gudgin!
