Wow what a fantastic afternoon we had at the stay and play. The children were so excited to spend the afternoon crafting with their grown-up. We hope you enjoyed yourselves too! We have been busy in maths over the last few weeks working on our teen numbers, playing lots of different games including bingo and making our own number lines. We have also begun to look at adding two numbers together and are beginning to write these as number sentences. This week we will be learning about the Christmas nativity story and what christians believe happened with the birth of christ.
We have been very busy making lots of lovely crafts to sell at the Christmas Fayre. In phonics we are learning the new sounds ee, igh and oa and will be using these in our learning. In maths we will be looking at estimating how many objects we can see and counting to check. |
