On Friday we had PC Hannah come to visit. She explained to us how she joined the police and some of the things she might do in a day.
We found it very interesting hearing about her special uniform and her ear piece. What did she have around her waist? Can you remember some of the special features on her badge? On the playground we got to see a real police car which was very exciting. The siren was extremely loud and the lights very bright. What was the best part of the afternoon? Would you like to become a police officer or work for the police? Year 3 Teachers What a fun week of learning we have had in Year 3!
All children learned how to sew the running stitch and were very resilient when the thread came out of the needle. If you were unable to attend the showcase you can bring your 50p to buy your purse next week. We look forward to more learning over the coming weeks before we finish for the holidays. Please do remember to wrap up warm and bring wellington boots if necessary. The weather is certainly getting colder and we still want the children to enjoy playing outside. Year 3 Teachers |
