This week, we have been learning about place value and how numbers are made up. We are getting really good at identifying the tens and ones in numbers. We used this knowledge to learn about money. We identified all of the different coins we have in our country. We know there is not a 30p piece! Or a 40p piece! We were given a problem to solve....
Mrs Aristidou has 2 coins in her purse. Mrs Garland has 4 coins in her purse. Miss Phillips has 5 coins in her purse. We all have 55p. Is this possible? We found out you can make the same amount with lots of different coins. Here is an example of our work... Comments are closed.
