Welcome back after the Easter break. Quite an unusual holiday time but we hope that this blog finds you well.
Whilst the weather is so lovely please do keep active. Play in your garden, bounce on your trampoline, practice goal kicks or even create your own sports day. Keeping active is not only great for your body but it really helps your mind too. Mr Fykin has uploaded some great dance workshops on the activities page of the school website. We have enjoyed learning some new moves. Class Dojo Hopefully by now you should have received a letter in the post about this new online platform (If not please contact the school office). Please follow the instructions to register and you will find we are regularly updating the site with activities for you. Parents can register via the email link we sent you. Again if you can't see that please contact the office with an up to date email address. This week we have set a maths challenge all about fractions. Watch the following clip and then write 2 facts about what you have learned and upload your photo. https://www.thenational.academy/year-3/maths/to-recognise-identify-and-describe-unit-fractions-year-3-wk1-3/ The second challenge is to design a HIIT session or an obstacle course. There should be 10 exercises that last for 30 seconds and then a 30 second rest. Repeat this twice. Write it out and then upload the photo of the session or the obstacle course. Below is an example of what this might look like. Stay safe. We hope to see you soon.
