We had a great day designing and making our own stylish outfits. Here are a few photos from our day. This week 3C have received a special delivery in the post all the way from France. In the Autumn term we wrote to children at Ecole Saint-Exupery in Noeux-Les-Mines. We wanted to practise our French and the children at the partner school wanted to practise their English. We were over-joyed to receive letters back and have already started to think about what we would like to write back in reply. What would you include in your letter? The children noticed that the handwriting was very different to ours, which made it tricky for some of us to read their name. Can you remember the name of your French friend? Here are some photos from the day we opened our letters. We were so excited! This week we have been challenging our times table knowledge and applying it to the inverse operation, which is division.
In Year 2 we used sharing circles to answer questions like 21 ÷3, but now we know we can count in 3's until we get to 21. Therefore we know the answer is ....7! Below are some images to help you recognise the inverse of multiply. Why not try these questions: 35 ÷ 5= 64 ÷ 8= 18 ÷ 2 = 24 ÷ 3 = 3C will have their class assembly next Friday, 15th March 9 - 9.40am. We will be sharing some of our recent learning and showing you some of our work.
It would be great to see parents/carers there if you are able to make it. Mrs Chrin |
