Today we looked at a piece of art work called 'Castle and Sun' by Paul Klee.
We had lots of fun making our own pictures in the style of Paul Klee. We thought about the different shapes we could see in 'Castle and Sun' and carefully cut lots of squares, triangles and rectangles to stick onto black paper.

We really enjoyed singing our Harvest songs to you and showing you what we have been learning about Harvest in Poland and Thailand on Monday. We hope you enjoyed watching!
Have a look at some of our amazing art work from our Harvest assembly! We collaged lots of tropical fruits and flowers. We even made paper plate cockerels! We have really enjoyed reading Chicken Licken and thought carefully about whether Chicken Licken will become chicken lunch! In Science we have been learning about our sense, taste. We tasted some different foods and thought carefully about whether they tasted sour, sweet, bitter or salty. We are very excited about our Harvest assembly next week! We can't wait to sing you the songs we have been learning! We have been practising lots!
In English last week, we looked at the book 'Not a Stick' by Antoinette Portis. We acted out some of the story in pairs and used some sign language too! |
