I can't quite believe that half term is here already! The children have settled in well to Year 3 and certainly deserve the week break. It was great to meet so many parents this week. We have been busy painting poppies for the memorial display on the school fence. Have you seen it? What do you think? Here are some photos of us painting the poppies. During the holidays have a great rest but try to keep reading and learning your times tables!
I hope you all have a super half term and I will see you back at school on Monday 29th October. Mrs Chrin Please remember to book your slot on the school website. The meetings this term will take place on Wednesday 17th October 3.50pm- 8pm and Thursday 18th October 3.50pm -6pm.
I look forward to sharing with you how your child is getting on in Year 3 so far. Mrs Chrin A massive thank you to Mr Kightley who came in this week to tell us more about the Romans. Mr Kightley was able to show us a range of Roman artefacts including; coins, pottery, jewellery and lamps.
What was your favourite artefact? Can you remember the uses for each artefact? What materials were the artefacts made from? |
