Thank you to all of you who came to our Christmas Craft morning. We had a wonderful time with glitter and glue everywhere! The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the grown ups were very creative too!! We will sell all the items at the Christmas Fair and raise some money to buy something special for our class. Have a look at our photos:

In Science we have been learning all about germs and how to stop them spreading. We carried out an experiment to find out how far germs spread when you sneeze! We used a water sprayer as a pretend sneeze!!! It was VERY funny! Then we measured how far the germs travelled. Some went more than 200 cm! Now we will always cover our mouths when we sneeze!!! This week in PE we have been creating weather dances. We have to make ourselves into particular shapes to represent different weather types. Can you spot a whirling tornado, snow flakes drifting, spiky ice, gently blowing wind and shining sunshine? See if you can guess which shape we are making? Yet another busy week in 2D! Our brains have been zap, zap, zapping! We have been persevering with some VERY tricky maths. We needed to remember our place value, partitioning AND empty number line skills! Here we are hard at work! |
