I hope you all had a lovely half term break.
We've had a very busy first day back. In English, we have started a new book called 'A Nest Full of Stars'. We spent the lesson predicting what we thought the book would be about. The children came up with some lovely imaginative ideas! At the end of the lesson we read some of the book and found out it is a book full of poems. Later this week, we will be writing some of our own poems. Watch this space! This week, we were lucky to have Mrs Coggins come and speak to the children about how to look after their teeth. She is returning again next week and then again the following week.
She has some homework for the children. I sent this home with the children today. Can you find 10 items of food at home which contain sugar that surprise you? For example, look at crisps or tins of baked beans. Look on the ingredient list - see what you can find! Write the items down as a list and bring it in next week to share with Mrs Coggins. Thank you, Miss R |
