New additions! It has been a very busy week! Firstly I would like to introduce 2 new children who have joined the class this week; Viana and Alesia have made a great start in 4S and they have been warmly welcomed by the rest of the class. I am sure they will prove to be great additions to the year group. Literacy Next week we will be starting a new book called 'The Lion and the Unicorn' which links beautifully to our History topic of World War 2, so this week we have been writing an alternative ending to Cendrillon. The children spent a lot of time planning and composing their endings and then spent time assessing each other's writing. I have attached Nathanael's version below for you to enjoy... School Trip
A letter was sent home with your child tonight about a trip that has been organised to Martlesham Heath Aviation Museum. It is taking place on Wednesday 29th November in the morning and links perfectly to our World War 2 history topic. Please make sure you sign and return the letter and money to school as soon as possible. Glass jars! In preparation for our Christmas Craft Morning, please could you save your glass jars as 4S are going to make tea light holders for the Christmas Fayre (along with some other goodies)? There is a box in the classroom where the cleaned and 'label-free' jars are being collected. P.E. Kit - a gentle reminder... There are still a few children that are not bringing P.E. kit to school. Please could you ensure that this is in school at all times, is named and includes everything that your child needs. As the weather is now cooler, I would suggest that this should also include jogging trousers and a sweatshirt. Have a good weekend everyone!
