We had a wonderful morning at the Martlesham Heath Aviation Museum, where we spent our time with amazing volunteers who showed us around the Radio Tower and Museum and spoke to us about their experiences of World War 2. We were also lucky to have a 'bunker experience', where we experienced what life would have been like during an air raid as it even included sound effects making it feel very realistic! A small sample of photos from the visit have been saved below for you to enjoy. The museum is run on a voluntary basis and well worth a visit. It is usually open from April to September and we were very lucky that they opened especially for us today. More information can be found at this website: www.mhas.org.uk/index.html.
