I hope you enjoyed the story. Can you remember what Jasper did on the different days of the week? Did he look for slugs and snails on Thursday or Friday? How many worms flew into the air when he dug the bean up?
Can you remember our days of the week song? Why not make a video of it, you can post it and your answers on Dojo, or just tell a grown up.
I hope you are all well, today's activities include:
On pieces of paper write the numbers 1-10, scatter them on a table or on the floor. Now see how quickly you can splat 1-10. Your adult can then shout out random numbers and see if you can find them!
Freezing and melting
In two small pots/tubs place two toys, perhaps some animal figures, fill almost to the top with water. Put them in the freezer. Once frozen place one tub in the shade and one in the sun. Which will melt quickest and why?
You will also find an online shape lesson:
Take care and stay safe.
Mrs Hughes, one of the teachers from our Hearing Support Base (HSB), organised the following song for you to enjoy. We were each given a line to learn with the amazing assistance of Ms Emmanuel, which was quite tricky to remember!
Mrs Jones (our music specialist) then used her amazing technical skills to put this all together. Can you spot anyone you know?
We hope you are all well, if you haven't managed to sign up to Class Dojo please do as that's where you will find the following activities and you can upload pictures and videos. 'We're going on a bear hunt' is one of our favourite stories and last week it celebrated it's 30th Birthday! So todays' tasks are linked to this story.
Task 1: Make a pair of binoculars using loo rolls or paper, decorate with pens or paint and sellotape together. You could even add string to go round your neck. What can you sew outside with your binoculars? Can you pretend to go on a bear hunt?
Task 2: Draw a picture from the story, it could be the swishy grass, the deep cold river or the big dark forest or you could even make a map of the journey the family take.
You can find the story on youtube or I hope the link above will work and you'll see me reading the story alongside the pictures! Take care and hope to see you soon.
