It's been lovely to see what you have been getting up to at home. Here is what you have shared: Some of you have shared pictures of you carrying out the cutting and counting 'duck' sheet. It's great to see you are practicing your cutting skills and counting whilst at home. If mummy or daddy has some old papers or magazines perhaps you could cut some pictures out and make a picture. Also remember you can practice your counting whilst outside, count the flowers or clouds in the sky or count your toys whilst you are tidying. It's fantastic to see some of you are continuing to practice writing your names. Maybe you could try using paint brushes and water and write your name on the patio outside or if mummy or daddy has some salt and a tray you could try writing it in the salt. Some of you have been drawing and colouring shapes, what a lovely idea! Can you make a picture using shapes? Maybe a house? It's lovely to see some of your rainbow pictures in your windows. I've seen that the next idea for us to display in our windows is sunsets. Here are some ideas for you; you could use pencils, pens, paint or crayons. Mummy or Daddy could help you draw some animals to cut to add to your pictures. Please continue to share your amazing work, it's so nice to see what you have been getting up to. Remember there is no pressure to do loads of work at home, these are just suggestions and the most effective learning at this age is through play!
