Last year in Penguins we followed Essex wildlife trust Owl webcam. We followed the story of two Barn owls who successfully raised 3 Owlets. Unfortunately when I looked at the Essex webcam this year it appears no Owls have nested this year however Dorset Wildlife Trust have two Barn Owls and 5 eggs one of the eggs successfully hatched Wednesday evening and another the following day, with the rest due to hatch imminently. The class really enjoyed watching the owlets grow last year. The website does display this message: Please be aware though: This is live, unedited footage of wildlife; at times, it is possible that there may be disturbing images of the natural world. These are wild creatures; Dorset Wildlife Trust’s policy is to allow nature to play out without disruption or interference. Also check out Essex wildlife trusts other webcams such as Badgers, swallows and Bats. Comments are closed.
