These are called ‘protected characteristics’.

The Rushmere Hall Primary School Equalities Objectives for 2022-2023 are:

Objective 1
To ensure that all staff are developed to their full potential regardless of their starting points, any disability, gender, marital and civil partnership status, pregnancy and maternity status, race, religion or belief or sex. This is to ensure all members of the team have an increased sense of belonging, ownership, agency, empowerment and efficiency.

Objective 2
To monitor and analyse pupil achievement and progress by key ethnicity groups, gender and SEND and act upon any trends or patterns in this data that require additional support for pupils.

Objective 3
To ensure that pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds are accessing and benefitting from the school's out of school provision and extra-curricular opportunities.

Rushmere Hall Primary School publishes its Equality Objectives on a four year cycle in line with the Eko Trust Equalities policy.
